Night in the Wharenui

Nignt in the Wharenui was a 2 night show held at SkyCity Theater produced by Oystar Creative during the the World Indigenous Peoples Education Conference (WIPCE) held in Tāmaki Makaurau - Auckland in November 2025.

 

  Step inside the wharenui and be transported on a vibrant cultural journey. This unforgettable showcase weaves together the power of Māori and Pacific storytelling through traditional and contemporary waiata, action songs, and performance. Audiences will experience the strength of narrative, the beauty of music, and the spirit of celebration — honouring the shared whakapapa and deep connections that bind the peoples of Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa (the Pacific Ocean).
